I am the second owner of this 1988 250R. When I purchased it the original tires were still good as new. THIS IS NOT A CLAPPED OUT 20+ YEAR OLD MACHINE! It has been cared for meticulously and maintained to perfection. I transformed the stock quad into a XC Racer. The Quad consists of the following:
Engine: Duncan Racing/Paul Turner PC 2000 275 Power Valve Kit. This is a very reliable motor with loads of bottom end 1st through 3rd and a very powerful top end 4th through 6th. Hinson Clutch basket and plates. Baldwin heat-treated transmission. Over sized radiator. Paul Turner Chrome Fat boy Pipe and Silencer.
Frame: Stock frame reinforced and powder coated red by Maryland powder coaters. Frame is perfect.
Suspension: PEP fully adjustable front and rear. Built and maintained by Baldwin Motorsports. Laegers Swing arm stock length with stock linkage. Roll Design A-arms for stock frame 2+1.
Roll Design steering stem and bar clamp. Renthal Bars, Oury Grips, 450R front brake lever and master cylinder, original thumb throttle, Suntour adjustable clutch lever, pro design kill switch and tether. WER steering stabilizer.
Steal braided brake lines, stock calipers and rotors, Hardkor hubs front, stock hubs rear. Douglas beadlock rims, Maxxis razor II front and rear (no tire balls).
RPM axle, anti fade lock/
AC nerf bars, PRM Bumpers and skids, a-arm protectors and swing arm protector.
Full bore plastics and Duncan Racing seat cover. Clarke 5 gallon over sized gas tank.
I have so many extra parts that there is too many listed but I have included photos. Just to name a few: cases, calipers, clutch parts, hardware, cylinders, axels, packing, wheels, plastics etc. An easy 3k worth of new parts.
You couldn't find another well kept 250R like this and you couldn't build one like this for 10K either. This is a great deal on an awesome machine.
