I can't use my +5mm long rod crank(HA2 6) because my cylinder wasn't set up for it. The rod is tight and the threads are near perfect. I didn't measure the spacer plate but I can, i assume it's +5mm. This was on my pro x 350. I expect a 72mm crank that is also tight with good threads. Pics to victork1982@gmail.com

Those pics of the crank, looks to be a STD 72mm stroke crank.
A stroker would have a plug welded in where the pin goes through & the hole bored in a different place to ad the +5 stroke.

If this is standard than why did my 350 pro x come with a spacer plate with this crank in it (4.75mm)?

Because the aftermarket 250R cylinder kits sold by CT Racing, LA Sleeve, ESR, LED, with a Pro-x or the new ESR cylinders, all those cylinder are machined so that they could be used on a TRX250R bottom end with a short rod crankshaft & old model 85/86 piston design, so, in turn for those cylinders to be used with a long rod crankshaft & old model 85/86 piston design, a 4.75mm thick spacer plate must be used for everything to work right.

A Honda OEM 250R short rod crankshaft, cant be bought anymore, so what I cant figure, why are the cylinders even machined that way any more so that they could be used on a short rod crankshaft, since you cant get them anymore.
Only brand new 250R short rod crankshaft that can be found, is the Hot Rods brand.

I thought 72mm was short rod Neil? Your first post you said mine looks like a standard 72mm but it was used with the plate??

So the crank is the same stroke but the plate just makes up the distance the longer rod goes up, got it
