03 ltz 400

i just bought a 2003 ltz 400 and im wondering how do i check the oil? i know were the dip stick is but my 400 ex had to idle a few minutes then shut it off. not sure what to do with this.

you have to take out the dip stick from the front oil tank, wipe it clean and put it back in, do not thread it in, just check the level from where the threads on the dip stick touch the threads on the tank.
Hope that helps, I know its a little different but once your used to it, it becomes second nature...
