starting in gear

hey guys i want to b able to start my 08 400ex in gear
now i know abou that plug that runs down by the shifter and i was wonering that if i cut those and ground them to the frame would it allow me to start in gear with clutch pulled in

Take those 2 wires at the clutch lever, wire them together. It will start in gear.

If you bought the quad used the mod was probabloy already done..if it had an aftermarket clutch perch it would have had to be done anyway.

yea i think the switch is just to make sure u have the lever pulled in before u start it. my 06 will start in every gear but reverse and i still have stock perch
