2012 Yamaha Quadcross Race Information
EVENT SCHEDULE AND FORMAT INFORMATION
4:00 p.m.: Gates open
6:00 p.m.: Practice
7:30 p.m.: Racing
Practice Schedule for All Events
1. 1) All Exp/Int
2. 2) All Novice
3. 3) All Pro/Am
4. 4) All New/Beginner
5. 5) Youth Class 90cc-Up
6. 6) All Youth 70cc and below
7. 7) All Pros
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Mandatory number plates
2. Nerf bars
3. All quads must meet the minimum cc limitations for their class.
4. Ages 4 and older.
5. All Quads must pass tech inspection at each round and receive a sticker before racing.
CLASSES:
Pro class:
- $50 Entry Fee. No membership required.
Pro/Am Class:
- $45 Entry fee. No membership required.
- Entrants must have previous experience racing in Expert or Intermediate classes.
Amateur Classes:
- $40 entry fee. No membership required.
Youth Classes:
- $30 entry fee. No membership required.
Newbie class:
- This class is for first time racers only
- $30 entry fee
- No score or points awarded.
OTHER SERIES INFORMATION:
Special events at each round, such as open riding, barbeques, RC cars and more. Extensive media coverage for the series.
Numerous sponsor giveaways, such as exhaust systems, suspension components, piston kits, nerf bars, grips, etc.
Season-ending barbeque, courtesy of Yamaha.
A connected tether-type kill switch (must be working or you will not be allowed to race) and nerf bars are mandatory.
The 450 Pro Production class will always be Race 3, and the Open Pro class will be Race 7.
All Quad-X Series riders will now be using a transponder scoring system.
A driver's license or credit card will be required as a deposit. No rental fee.
TRACKSIDE SUPPORT is provided by Yamaha at all events.
