So i powerwashed my EX last week and put it away right after. This week when i went to start it up to get it ready for a ride, it wouldnt start. I crank the crap outta it, choke on, choke off, gave it throttle. Nothing. I was confused....then i remembered. I had put the airbox cover on when i washed it to keep water out and forgot to remove it afterwards.

I flooded the crap out of it. It was in my airbox, in my cylinder. I finally removed the plug and spun it over a few times to get the fuel out. When i got it started, it sprayed fuel out the exhaust for a couple minutes.

Is my pilot too rich that it wouldnt let me start it with the lid on? Am i so rich that it floods easy or is it plain ole' flooded from stupidity?

I would guess just flooded from cranking so much.

I mean, no need to mess with your jetting, if it WAS running fine before.
