CPI 370 sphinx motor with tons of goodies

I have a CPI Sphinx 370 motor with very low hours on it. K&T did the porting and installed a Slingshot lock up clutch and an ESR cr digital ignition. This thing is awesome with a ton of power.

Selling because I am starting my second year of Nursing School and need to pay off some debt.

I bought the top end from Dave Moore Racing and broke it in at my local riding area. Then I went to St. Anthany dunes for my first big trip and the spark plug tip broke off and scratched the nikasil. Sent the motor to K&T were they did all the work to get the motor back to working condition with a little porting. On the re-nikasil it has about 13-15 hours on it. This 370 is a beast.

Gears are stock but were cyoed by CT to last a little longer.

I was just looking at my K&T invoice alone 6/19/12 for cylinder re-nikasil, piston, 3 domes, sling shot clutch, Orings and gaskets, CR ignition, port work, labor and frieght, 1700.00 bucks. Ouch!!:eek: If my wife knew that I paid that much for the fix and parts and now what I am selling at, I wouldn't get laid for a year.

I did at the time with tax returns but no more. What stinks is I am also selling my wifes 92 banshee that was repowder coated and bought all new plastics except for the rear.

I hate selling toys.

what type of reed does it take? cr500?

what type of porting was done?

It uses the stock style reed cage. The Puma uses the CR500.
