Finally got another Roll!

Well I looked on craigslist at 4pm yestarday and saw this thing only about an hour from me.Apparently it had been on there for a while. It looked sorta rough in the pics but I called anyway. After talking to the guy I found out he was sorta needing money that day so I made him an offer that he said he would take. I met him at 7pm and looked at it and man was it dirty! I could tell it would clean up and he really didnt know what he had so I paid him and went home. I cleaned it with a water hose and some simple green today at lunch and I cant beleive how nice it is. All the bushings,heims,bearings are all super tight and the pc 2000 cyl has plenty of compression. It appears to be an 03 with the original powder coat. There was absolutely know expense sparred when this thing was built!

but I just tried plastic soldering on a old set of mine, and it worked great!!!


just get an electric soldering iron, a white plastic cup, like
Mcdonalds or Burger king and cut it into thin strips, about 1/16th or less, and heat the mounting plastic and filler plastic together , make it thicker then needed and sand down to proper thickness,

you cant even notice they were ever broken

hey Dustin, do you know any more about the quad Ben had? I had a set of roll design +4s made for a laeger narrow frame. Doug said he only made a couple sets for pro riders, Im sure the guy I sold them too would like to know who all had them, shoot maybe they even came off one of Bens quads. thanks.
