Can-Am Maverick... any info?

anybody have any info on the new sport SXS? BUT I can guarantee it will be RZR competitive unlike the commander.

From what I have heard anyways, the commander is slow.

the 1000's are retarded fast for being a non-sport model...we had 5 of us in my buddies and we were still doing nearly 70 down the road

they are a significantly better SxS than the razr's in my opinion

i just dotn like giving my life savings, my left arm, right leg, and a testicle to afford one

Honestly, the RZR is probably the only thing keeping Polaris Motorsports open.

I mean, it flat swept the market.

Look at the Can Am renegade, and the outlander.. They stole the 4x4 ATV market... I think this is what is going to give Can Am the SXS market.

But Ben is right. Those things are so expensive, your everyday average Joe can't afford them.

Well really, anything from Can AM and Polaris is $$$..

I read on another forum that it will have the 104hp spyder engine with a 5 speed flappy paddle gearbox. That would be awesome, but ill believe it when I see it.
Can-Am doesn't like playing second fiddle to anyone, all I can say is that it will be the most powerful sxs on the market....and most expensive haha

Exactly. How many do you know who have a can am or polaris anyways? I know of a few with SxS's but not to many otherwise.

Stuffs more $$$ than anything out there. Im almost positive I could build a full on sand rail myself for approx 3/4 the cost or less of a rzr. These things cost almost as much as a new car!

full blown, fully loaded, commander 1000 limited is in the $22k range....thats as much as the loan on my jeep, which i bought brandnew, and is loaded with everythign minus leather...



..the limited has in dash touch and sat nav.....who the needs that in an atv?!


and to dx, while i partially agree about the razr being a huge part of polaris's profit....i do know quite a few people with polaris utilities, like the sportsmans.....and they do sell a lot of sleds as well

i test drove a commander 1000 last week, its garbage, noisy, heavy, and sluggish on the top end. The dealer said he could knock up to $4000 off the MSRP! I was ready to trade my rzr S for a 900xp but I might test one of these first now. too bad it doesn't have gears though,,,,

polaris does exceptionally well. they were the most sucessfullatv company either this year or last year with the most profits and can am comes after them. i have a 2012 sportsman sitting in my garage and its awesome. its pretty quick for a 500, theres a grizzly 700 beside it and this overshadows the grizzly. ive rolled a rzr, they are crazy. im not impressed with commanders. why is nobody paying attention to john deere? i was impressed with the new 825i my dad had, but this rsx850 is crazy. john deeres are awesome. its no longer slow sluggish farm equipment anymore.

its an 1100 cc 3 cylinder diesel with high, low, and super low. they could have put actual high gears in the "high" range. And I get free colored diesel. I just would have liked the enclosed cab. but for $21,500 I wanted to go faster than 40
