Im looking at buying a drr70. I need to convert it to a 50. It has a 24mm carb, stage 6 pvl, metrakit pipe, and a polini 70cc top end. If I put just a stock steel casted 50 top end on it. Will that carb work? Just jet it down? What am I really getting into as far as expense goes? Thanks. By the way it's a liquid cooled motor.

it would run but i think it would be a dog with very little bottom end.I would try to locate a 20mm carb for it.

Should not be hard, the crank should be the same stroke - BUT could have a long rod. So get yourself a 50cc liquid cooled cylinder and you will be ready to roll.
The 24mm might be a little big.
I have a 21mm D-slide I'll sell you....

WHAT POLLINI 70 MOTOR DO YOU HAVE IF ITS A EVO 4 ,I DONT THINK A 50 JUG WILL WORK ,,,THE EVO 4 HAS A LONG STROKE CRANK, . PLUS HOW OLD IS YOUR CHILD HE MAY BE READY FOR THE 70 CLASS . YOU MAYBE BE ABLE TO FIND A GOOD 50 MOTOR ON HEAR READY TO GO . THERE IS A LOT OF TUNNING INVOLVED
