I know it is not a 50 and I am not sure if it can be moddified as I have not really looked yet but, I got a T-REX 90 to be used by my three daughters last summer and it has been a very good quad. What I did for my younger two girls is take out the stock throttle screw that limits how fast it can go and put in a longer one to slow it down even more so nobody gets hurt.

The new ETON 50's are cool, so are Kasea's and the little KFX 50 is alright too.

id stay away from all those little companies. . .

go with a Suzuki/Kawi 50 (its the same exact bike). itll last longer, and you will be able to get parts for it easier.

LEM my son got a LEM condor for Christmas & he's 4 yrs old, he just took 1st place on it racing:D (yes I'm a proud mom) they are good little quads, my niece has the Cayman which is also 50cc but a little bigger size wise, her daddy has done some mods to it so it's no longer a 50 but an 80cc now & it's a runner. We looked at the Kasea's , Eton's, Dinli's but the Lem just seemed a better choice for what we wanted. Good Luck on your search:D

Kasea's are great little quads. Nothing in it's price range compares to it.

Yup, Kasea and Eton are both good quads, they run real good, and have been totally reliable for us, we only had one prob with the kasea, and it was something the dealer did to it not the quads fault..My Son was five when we bought it for our son last year...We bought the Eton viper from a guy out of colorado who is very knowledgeable about this quad,he is also with the Kasea. He had the best prices too. I paid 1499.00 for the Viper and 1800.00 for the Kasea..Both minis have aftermarkets for ..My Daughter has the Kasea 90 and let me tell you, this is one fun lil mini!! Depedning on the size of your Daughter would be how I would decide on what to buy, my Son can ride the 90, but he isnt ready(displine wise:o ) for one..I know the honda is a good reliable, but I just cant see spending all that money on something they will outgrow, and besides, I would rather spend it on a few mods:p Hetricks is a good place to ask about Kasea and so is Peak power sports in Texas if you want more opinions on these quads. I do have all there phone numbers also .If you would like them let me know and Ill PM you them. Good luck on whatever you get..heres a few pics of ours..

I started on a old Suzuki that my dad rebuilt that thing as has had one of the worst lifes ever becuese after i got and 80 my dad let his friends don ride it and it got trashed but it still runs and is and awsome little machine so i would defenitly say Suzuki or the kawi. Only get a lem if you are goin to race.

if your daughter is 5 i would seriously get her a 250ex. Simply because she will probably learn fast, then if you get a 90 she wont grow out of it. just keep the thorottle limiter on :)

IMO, the LT50 is not that great. For the $$$ you can do better.

The Kasea has the best suspension for a mini, they all are pretty lousy suspensionwise though. Kasea has made the biggest strides in the suspension dept.

My kids have a LT80, it is great. We have modded the engine a bit and are working on the suspension now. Problem with the LT80 is that it uses the engine case as part of the swingarm, limited travel. LT80 has used the same design for over 12 years, proven reliability.

Honda 90 is good if you want to shift. Again, proven reliability.

My son's friend has an Eton and has had nothing but trouble with it, FWIW. I have heard good and bad things about Eton, depends who you talk to.

Most 80/90cc minis have throttle limiters, my 5 yr old rides the 80 with the limiter turned down. I can't see buying a 50cc, only to outgrow it in 2/3 yrs. As your kids grow, you can mod the Kasea90 or LT80 to do 50/60 MPH if you choose.

I say go for the trx 90, I grew up on one and they are bullut proof. My next choice would be Suzuki LT80. But she will learn a lot more and be a lot more competitive if she starts out on the trx cause it has gears.
