My friend went riding today and he said he needed a condensor off his 05 so i gave him one of my old ones for the day. Went around about 3 laps and the quad shut off and when i checked the condensor, it was hot. Pulled the plug off the recifier and that was all messed up. The problem is we cant figure out what would cause it to do this. It looks like the rectifier got hot and melted one of the contacts. Im assuming the condensor was bad because the rectifier went bad. it turns out his old condesor basically exploded. I think its just shorting out somewhere but just seeing if anyone else has had this problem.
