Has anyone coated their exhaust can white (rossier, dasa) that could post a pic for reference? How will the powder hold up with the heat? Thanks

The company i run used to powdercoat industrial dust collector cages. We would bake on epoxy @450 F. Not sure what the temp is at the can, ytou'd maybe want to get a heat gun and get your's hot and take a reading. I can see powder holding heat in my mind, less packing life, maybe warping? i dont know really.
Most cans are stainless and outer cover being aluminum. Perhaps anodize the alum? Never looked at a ross or dasa close up. i know sparks is build like this.

well im debating..should i get my rossier coated white with a black endcap and a black rossier sticker or should i just put it back on polished. Heres the bike with the natural aluminum finish. what do u guys think?

I pc'd a can white one time it was a dasa. It held up like any other. White just takes a little more hand washing to keep it white. As long as u have packing in it it'll be fine, but as it starts to burn out so does the pc

I think the ross looks good the way it is man. My sparks shines all the time just hit it with a brillo every so often.
Maybe a white ross sticker, i think that would look clean with your plastic.

well it is currently apart due to a repack and i have it polished like a mirror. It looks brand new, but im just tossing up the PC option. Once i see Balaz's pic im sure it will tell me what i wanna do.

I sold mine or id post a pic. You can always tell when a pc'd pipe packing is burning out. Motoworks packing has lasted alot longer than others ive used, or maybe its their pipe design
