Q: 250r seal leak behind sprocket

Can i change the oil seal on the shaft without pulling the drive shaft? HelP please

Yup I had to do it earlier this summer. Make sure when you put the new seal in you dont push it in to far.

Thanks. Found out i had a carb tube wrap around shaft and worked its way in past the seal and into the bearing! unbelievable how it cound get behind the seal.

Yea that does sound like a pretty uncommon thing to happen haha.
