I have a 11/1 426 wiseco piston and was wondering if I should go with a hot rods crank or a wiseco crank and if there is much of a difference if any?

The best one you can get is a hotrods crank with a carrilo rod I beam rod. You can ebay carillo rod and it will come up. Indestructable!

Is it worth it? What gain will I get from it compared to the wiseco. Cause I can get the whole wiseco bottom end rebuild kit for 230 and the hotrods crank cost like 260 with out gaskets or bearings or anything else. Im not made of money but I would like it to run well

I thought hot rods made a stroker crank but I can't seem to find it?

They do, but u have to get a new piston and stuff too. U can get them on eBay for a reasonable price

Do you need a crank as in yours is bad or do you want a crank?

Wiseco crank should be ok. Bet you coulda scored an entire bottom end on ebay for less than a crank tho.

They dont have the longevity of oem or even hotrods wiseco outsources their cranks to a cheap chinese company and just rebrands them

No, what I meant was that you coulda bought an entire trans and everything for the same price basically.

Of course used. The trans is incredibly hard to wear out on these things anyways.

My trans is fine. And I wouldn't really want a stock used crank to be put back into my quad that I'm building up a bit

In all honesty very few stock cranks have issues. I know tons of people with 400s and never had an issue with anything in the bottom end.

But it is your cash, spend it how you wish.
