New 416 kit

Hey guys,

I just ran my 1999 400ex with with my Ross 416 piston, S2 hot cam, 3 angle valve job, ground header welds, jet kit and open air box. My old tired motor has new life, it really rips. I would recommend these mods to anyone. My parts came from C&D racing- Thanks Colby! I went from gettiing beat by a new stock 400ex, to beating it by 4-5 bike lengths. Ya hoooooo!

Glad to hear that you like it. I have been really impressed by the 416 kits. I put one in my wifes bike 2 years ago and she has been beating my 440 ever since in the dunes. :D

Colby, Correct me if I'm wrong but, Isnt that due to the rider? Remember the old sayin, "90% Rider, 10% machine"?

Ya you were not suppose to tell her that, I always make it look like it is the bike that is faster. I am getting slow in my old age:D
