So I thought this would be a good/funny thread. Let's see what fads you thought were so cool and now looking back makes you shake your head. Add pictures if you can.
I'll start it off with a few off the top of my head.

Man I forgot about airwalks and the yoyo craze. We always had "X-brain" yoyos or something like that. We would bring them to school and trade halves so we had two tone look lol. I had a black and yellow one

Anyone remember Devil Sticks?

http://www.higginsbrothers.com/jugglingimages/flowerstick.jpg

-Creepy Crawlers

-Razor Scooters... I know these are still popular in the sense that there are like freestyle scooters now but the original Razors were an overnight hit and everyone was buying them out of every store in sight for $99.99. We all used to cruise around the neighborhood together jumping the sidewalks and driveways for hours. Definitely some fun times. To be honest, if everyone still had theirs I'd probably still go out there and ride it around.

I rocked the JNCO's in high school. I had the kangaroo's and I think the bottoms were 33" around? I also had 8 other pairs but my favorites by far were the JNCO taxi's lol. Funny remembering all this stuff. I also had the "undercut" hair cut. I ran with that all through middle school. I hit high school and the JNCO's and undercut left and short hair and hollister found its way into my life lol

YES!!! I 100% agree man these type of people burn me up I never did go thru the stage where I thought I had to bs cool and wear fox stuff to let people know I ride!

I had a mound of die cast cars and still have a good bit I went thru the stage of trying to do model cars and never had the patience for them so I got about 10 cars laying around half way done other than that I was big into gran turismo and those simulation type games with the wheel and pedals then I got into kart racing believe it or not those simulation games actually help

dude lots of guys wear those, once you get out side of the geater meadville, bible thumpin, sister banging, north western PA area...

they're actually one of the best things you can wear on your feet if you have plantar fasciitis and are essentially pre-molded to the shape you nee dthem to be for plantar fasciitis/heel spurs and will further form to your foot. thats why ppl say they're extremely comfortable..

trust me, if you end up with plantar fasciitis or heel spurs...which like 40% of Americans end up getting, you'll do anything you can to find comfortable foot atttire

I have those in that exact color and I still wear them outside and around the house every day. To the guys that said they weren't comfortable... The more you wear them, the more they conform to your feet (they eventually even get indented for each toe individually). When I first got them they weren't comfortable but now they feel like slippers. I've had them for years.

As for the Birkenstocks, I didn't realize so many people still wore them. I just remember them being huge for 2-3 years through middle school and I never saw them much after that. Didn't realize anyone on here wore them either. Excuse me while I go put my foot in my mouth.......:uhoh:

Yeah no kiddin. I'm not surprised since it sucked. Just wasn't as good as the original. It might be because everything on TV now is just as gross and ridiculous. I think that's why it did so well in the beginning. There was nothing else like it on TV.

Kids and the stuff they got today are insane compared to what I had as a kid. Basically you had nerf, nintendo and you rode your bike all day long and played outside otherwise. Maybe if you were lucky yo had a gameboy or something.

Today these brats got EVERYTHING. Hell I seen 5 year olds with cell phones better than I got! I didnthave a phone till I was IDK like 16.

^ Yep. We dont have TSC here, we got wallyworld. I wear wranglers, sneakers or boots and cheap arse gray t-shirts you can buy in a pack of 4. I literally have 5 nice t-shirts and maybe a few pairs of pants and 1 suit lol.

Otherwise I got my mechanics dickies on with gray shirt.

I have never ever worn, let alone stepped foot in hollister, abercrombie, american eagle or for that matter much of the local huge arse mall with stores like that in it. My clothes get ruined really easily and quickly so my few good clothes I tend to save. If you took a look at me the way I dress people automatically assume Im a mechanic. I can go to a dealer and they throw me the discount without me even saying anything lol.

DAMN that store! I can't walk in there without spending at least $50 bucks. lol. I have a lot of BKE button up long sleeve shirts. Love them but not the $40 to $65 dollar price tags they carry lol.

i feel the same way man!!! i love the button down shirts from there, but they are way to expensive, so i dont get many of them. hate the tshirts, refuse to buy them. to flashy and make me feel like im on jersey shore........but if im in there to buy jeans, im at least dropping $75 a trip....i started going to their website and nabbing the **** as soon as it goes on clearance

my gf seems to always find the jeans from on there on sale other places for super cheap...dotn know how, but she does

I can't buy jeans from Hollister, Abercrombie, or American Eagle because, when I walk in the store, I feel like I'm in a gas chamber in Nazi Germany that's full of sh1tty cologne. Well that and their clothes are overpriced and cheap material. I'll stick to my Levi's

****ing abercrobmie is terrible. youn cant be in a 50 ft radius of that place without being gassed out. i think there cologne smells aweful as well...kinda like non sented dish soap to me!

it was all the craze back when i was in highschool..*****es loved that ****...

I'm 15, and I wear what mom puts in the closet. I'm a farm boy, so style isn't really my thing... But as long as it don't wear out so fast I'm happy :D

i know it sounds douchey, and its retarded to spend that much on jeans...but i have a coupe pair of BKE's from buckle...and their honestly tough as hell....good material, good craftsmanship....are they worth the price, **** no...but they fit good and are tough.....and my g/f likes them lol

nothing wrong with a pair of jeans that doesn't make you look like the marlboro man. i've been hooked on Express jeans for awhile now. i'm not too rough-guy-tough-guy to admit it.
