I will have to do red, since thats what i have.

Hoping Austin @ Spider can tie all the colors in together with a graphics kit.

I have to agree, painting the sub frame would make it come together so much more.

Black or white? Or Blue?

White or blue. Build is looking good Cody!

If you do it black it still looks good and it's a LOT easier to keep up with. You can touch up black a lot easier.

Oh gees... Now you and chronic have me confused...

On one hand if i do white.. it would look badass...

But if i do white, it might overpower the black on the quad...

If i do black, its easy to touch up, and paint and everything...

White is a total pita to paint, and keep it clean while putting it on..

My stock arms are going to be white, until i can get my GTT setup.

hm.....

I'm saying black. Easier to paint and keep clean plus when you get your arms it'll match and it will be different from your swinger. Blue would look good too if you wanted that much blue.

Rims painted...
Yes or no?

(i know it almost looks orange, but its a dark red, like the same as my plastic)

ok, so i got this new TMS gel battery, and i have to say, it looks pretty dang cool.

Obviously i have not gotten to use it yet, but it does look cool!

One thing I have noticed about it already, just from looking at it, is these little rectangle nuts.

Most of the batteries you buy, they give you the real soft, strip easy junk ones, and these seem a lot harder and do not seem like they will strip quite as easy.

THANK YOU BLASTEREATIN250!

Whats the ground clearance specs for a xc quad on the front?

I know i cant set the back around 9" like it suppose to be because i dont have my link or re-worked shock yet, but what is the front suppose to be at?

Stickman400
09-07-2012, 09:59 PM
Nick @ Jet told me 7" in the rear and 7 1/4" in the front. The back is measured right underneath the pegs and the front is measured at the flat spot under the frame right before it curves up for the a-arm mounts. I'm almost positive that is for an XC setup too.

dxcody

Yep your right, i just asked Eric Hoyland and he said you want both front and rear to be right around 7".

Thanks for the reply stickman!

Trying to get her into a rolling chassis tonight!

Going pretty well so far!

Im so f*cking tired... but!

Mission accomplished!

Now i can put it back on the stand, take the front wheels and back wheels BACK off, and finish painting them.

I love the way this turned out.

I wasn't sure about having the white, black, blue + red plastic, but i think it looks good.

Stickman400
09-08-2012, 01:19 PM
It does look pretty good man. I'm kinda wondering how the red plastic is gunna look, but the way it sits now it looks sick. Deff. a unique color scheme.
