i have 450r shocks that were resprung and revalved by GT thunder for my stock a-arms. i know if i go to +2 arms that i need to have them re-done. would it be a big deal if i simply rode the current shocks for the rest of the year on them +2 arms and then get them redone this winter? will i just need to tighten the preload? (currently set at the top with no turns and are perfect)

thanks!

The +2 arms make your shocks softer, and will lower your ride height.

Ride height is kinda a personal preference thing. And also, you can turn your compression a few clicks harder and they will probably feel about the same.

I figured they would soften, so i figured a couple of turns of preload will be needed, as right now i dont need any turns of pre load. Good idea with the compresion. I just didnt want it to completely screw up the handling
