Me and my brother drag race. He has a 2008 raptor 250, 12:1 std bore JE piston, stage 2 hotcam, BigGun eco slip on and jetted carb. I bought a front and rear lowering kit for my 400ex. I had an extra set of front shock brackets that lower the front aprox. 3" that I put on his 250. They were made for a 400ex but fit on his 250 just fine. the 250's dont have a linkage so theres no way to use my lowering kit on his though. does anybody have any ideas how I can lower the rear of the quad, or does somebody make a kit for this?

I would go with a shorter length rear shock, drag racing does not require alot of travel.

Thanks,

X 2,,, But i have seen guy's set their rear shock to the softest setting, then put a tie down from the grab bar, to the swing arm, and sink it down that way..

I actually looked around and found a rear lowering kit for the raptor 250 right from CRJ. It lowers the shock down into the swing arm like a linkage. The only thing is they are out of stock. I just sat his shock all the way down and if it needs to be lower I will use a ratchet strap for now.
