Headed out to Reno Nevada yesterday to catch some Shortcourse race truck action. Fassst trucks. I tried to post a vid., not sure how to yet, so here are some pics...

Nascar racer, (Jimmy Johnson's) youngest brother Jessie Johnson#15 and Sheldon Creed my cousins son, 14 year old with a ton of offroad talent #74.

I encourage anyone who has the chance to see these trucks in action to check them out...

Sponsors include Ford, Rockstar, Metal Mulisha, Makita, Maxxis, Lucas oil, DVS, and 4 Wheel parts, well known in the Freestyle motorcross seen.

Sponsors: A.M Ortega Construction, Fox Shocks, BFG tires, Trench Shoring, Eibach Springs, and Method Race wheels

He qualified with the fastest lap time 2 sec. ahead of the field, started in 6th for the main and took the lead, but his fan belt shredded and caught a wire stalling the car so had to settle for last. He's running for another championship in the Superlight class and is currently leading in points.

One of the dune trips I took down in Glamis when I lived down in San Diego, Robbie Gordon was jumping a nice gap, I'm pretty sure his truck is up their in horsepower, Prolights put out around 300 when race legal. I would love to have the money to put one of these together, lol..

That looks like fun (watching it I mean), now driving one-that would make me grin so hard ear to ear I might not be able to stop smiling!

Glad you had a good time and could take some pics and videos and share!

I just live on the wrong coast

Was thinking of maybe buying a second house there and if I love it move in full time.

Would anybody like to purchase a body shop on long island n.y.
Lol

Reno is a nice area. Like any city its size, it's got ugly areas and nice areas.

There's a reason a house in Wisconsin sells for $110k and the same house in California sells for $550K. Everybody wants to live in California, it's beautiful and the weather is fantastic.

The great thing about the Reno/Tahoe area is that it's got many of the same great attributes as California, without the negative aspect of being California.
