I have an OEM cylinder resleaved to the 295 size.. this cylinder has midrange porting done by a local
Kart builder.... I'd say this top end has about 70hrs on it but still ran very strong and had over 200psi compression when I tore this motor down to build my 330. This cylinder is also grooved for o-ring head gaskets.. piston does not look to be in the best of shape so you may want to bore and go to next size up but I personally would not hesitate to run this top end as is.. currently has 72mm piston.. $225 shipped.. set up properly I would bet money this cylinder will out perform any of ESRs trx ported 310 cylinders, on dyno or seat of the pants..

Whats the hole on the bottom side, where the base gasket goes on the intake side?
Thanks
Will

Cylinder is sold...
I guess that was done during porting for extra torque but you would have to have your cases ported o use it..

Thats fine. I was just wondering.

So it connects to the intake port? You didnt have any pictures of the intake port did you? Or better pictures of this added port?

Yes it connects the intake port to the crank case..
Some people say these ports didn't do much but this motor had tons of bottom end when it was together.. the guy that ported it filled it with epoxy, and then u the extra port, same with cases..
This is the only other pic I have of the intake.. sorry you can't see much from the pic.

Actually I have it here today to ship to the new owner.. I'll take some more pics and post them.

I bought this as a complete quad and the with told me it was a stroker motor 310.. I picked it up and seen the spacer plate and new it was just a regular long rod motor.. then I went riding with a friend with a brand new esr 310, he was struggling to keep up so I thought maybe it did have a 6 mil stroker crank or something.. then I tore it down to send the cases to Neil to build my new 330 and noticed the 72mm piston..
