I do alot of drag raceing, so top speed i need to have better at least to beat other 400's with stock gearing....but i also do alot of trail riding...not so much RACING in the woods but i like to rip from time to time with frirnds but the 16t font sprocket wouldnt affect my bottom with the curtis sparks x4 blowing out alot of torque and the filter and small tires right

I would stick with the stock back and go to the 16 up front if anything. You will really be boggin if you do the smaller rear too, not unless you get some motor work. I have a 14t up front right now but am gunna go with a 16 when I do a 416 kit this spring cuz i'lll have enough power so it wont bog. do a 16 up front and leave the rear alone.

well how long is the drag racing that you do? you want to get off the line quick or else you might not ever catch up. i would say go up 1 in the back or back down to stock in the front maybe.
maybe you should try it and just see how it goes.
