They are no longer $180!
Lowered to $130! Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, if you go on ebay and type in "400ex GTT Link" the $180 one pops up, but if you type in "400ex link" then on the 2nd page they are only $130.

Are you sure that's Laz's eBay store? Why would he say "Same geometry as GTTHUNDER linkage" when he would be refering to himself?
The stores in millersberg ohio, thats where GTT is.
I bought my skidplate from that ebay seller and it came from GTT.
Laz has that ebay name and another one called benchracer52

Has anybody used the kit below? Or just done the high-flow piston itself?

Im getting just the spring kit.
Im not tearing into my shock, without an experts help.
Im sure that kit is awesome tho.
and Idk why it says "same as GTT link" because if you go to that seller they have all the gtt stuff listed.
Laz also has a name called quadparts111 that sells a bunch of GTT stuff. Heck idk.

Its got to be Laz or Brandon one.
even If its not, then they are obviously a gtt dealer.
Maybe they are just cleaning out their stock or something.

Last GTT lnk I ordered was from the ebay as you mentioned.. (about 2 years ago) It came in as a GTT link with the patent number on the side of it.
I think they just sell them for a bit cheaper on ebay

I'd imagine GTT would be pretty fired up if someone was making claims "same as GTT link" and they weren't getting any of the $$ from it..

Id tend to agree.
I once saw a similar link that claimed tobe like the GTT link. It didnt have the engraving like the GTT link and claimed to be made of steel.

werent you wanting to sell them, until everybody jumped you about ripping off of laz's design?
Then that thread got terminated?
No, what I saw on ebay awhile back was someone selling steel ones similar to GTT links. I dont see them anymore tho.
Thats GTT for sure. I ordered front and rear springs from them on ebay and they all came in GTT box with their mailing label on it.

What better way to get double the money from one customer. And im not saying this is what they do or that it is their intent. But think about it. They sell the DIY kit to the do-it-yourselfer like ME. We go and mess the modification up, ruining the whole shock. We then call the professional and arrange for them to do the mod correctly this time. Or get talked into a totally different shock. Their name is nowhere on the first "sale".
I dont blame them one bit. And they probably arent doing it with that intent. I do mods and projects just like this first for the enjoyment and second for the thrill of success! I have both won the battle and lost many. And im going to try this one as well!!! I just need to figure out where to get the nitrogen re-charged and the parts will be ordered.

Most tire shops can do it.
Most of them fill tires with Nitrogen now, because nitrogen wont deflate in temp change.
Just be careful... I went to check the nitro in one of my rear shocks and broke that whole stem off.
haha

Thats what i figured. Thanks
And the main reason for nitrogen in tires is because the larger size of nitrogen molecules are the least permeable and stay in your tire longer. Compressed air escapes through tires quicker because its smaller sized molecules.
