One of my front custom axis shocks has lost its nitrogen charge. I am wondering how this happens. It has no oil leakage at all.

Could be a leak in the line or the valve core just failed.

Where can one get the nitrogen refilled? Local shop? Tire shop?

if you havent lost oil it's not in the line. it is a seal or valve but you need to know how many psi they are set at.

Just like air in your tires, the Nitrogen will escape over time. How long has it been since they were last serviced, they may be due for an oil change anyways (should happen at least once a year). If it happened suddenly, then your valve core or cap O-ring could have failed. What leads you to believe they are out of Nitrogen? The fronts should be filled to about 150psi.

I just got them recharged for now and will see how they are and if it holds a charge. Was only $5 to charge both
