crf gearing

whats a good gearing ratio for 03 crf motor. i have a 14 on the front and its just cooking the tires. know one ran a 15 on these right? whats good on back like a 36?

i run 12-39 on mine with first gear removed from the transmission.

I use 13/38, I don't think its tall enough. I have a 14t I will put on it when it gets a new chain. I run out of gear on fast stuff. I have a rekluse in it, so it won't stall pulling a taller gear and it will make up for the lack of top end in open stuff.

well im running the 14 and am bakeing the tires in first and second. 3rd will bog on start. thinking drop the rear or go 15 in front but ill go check what i have on the back.
