I was wondering if a built 426 ex can actually have a chance against 450's on a mx track with modarate riders?
What would it take to do it?

Suspension and rider ability. Its not about whose quads faster, its about whose handles the best and can ride the best.

I didn't fair too bad in a 30+ class and mines stock minus the pipe and filter and a set of decent tires. It's a battle at first when everyone is fresh, but its a battle of fitness, rider ability and a consistent pace. It's fun either way but IMO if you want to get serious in the sport a 450 is a better investment with all the work needed to keep a 400 reliable. Good luck either way

Dont over exceed your ability is the best advice.

Dont crash is the next best piece of advice.

Play defense, if your blocking the path they cant pass you. Which is why extended a-arms and extended axles are great....lol.

Ahhhhh so that's what those are really for!!! I'll mount some spikes on the side too. Or take a ten foot 2x4 and nail er down to the seat. Thanks!!
