Electrical question?

Ok my r is not getting any spark so I came in and searched on here and seen what ohms everything should be at but I don't know what setting to put my multi meter on ? I don't use a multi any really just use test lights but I need to find my spark problem before I go nuts !

check all your connections real good look for any spots that look like its gotten hot, you will be able to see a dark spot in the connector from the heat, usually if you find the hot spot youve found the problem ( high resistance)
also make sure your plug cap is making a good connection inside the wire end, sometimes the cap needs to be removed from the wire and cut about a quarter inch off the end and redo the cap connection,

as far as testing the components for resistance (ohms) it looks a little like and upside down U there are some threads about testing coil and testing stator that will give the values your looking for and a good idea of what too look for,

OR just upgrade to a CR ignition there way more reliable.
