sorry to hear the bad news,

and im also sorry to say if you dont part it out your going to take a beating on the price....

hope all turns out well for you, it seams your not alone in your predicament, Ive talked to a couple otheres needing to liquidate the toys

if you do happen to part I might be interested in the motor,

but I hope it doesnt come down to that:(

Yea your def going to take a hit on selling it as a complete bike. Its not like it was 10-15yrs ago when complete race bikes were still being sold. It would be great to see if someone else buys this things complete, theres nothing for them to do to it, its a complete race bike, and hopefully you can get what you think you want for it.

Keep in mind, eBay takes approx 12% off the top, then PayPal will take 3%. So if you parted it out with total $7500 sales, you would have shipping and PP fees out of your pocket leaving you close to $6k, on a good day.

If you don't want to mess with it, sell it to someone and it will probably be parted out eventually. I think $4500-5k would be a fair price for your bike, there are some nice parts on it but some would still prefer a Laeger, Walsh, etc. (something with a CR500 rear end)

Another idea would be to put it in the Facebook page that's floating around, perhaps someone with some oil money or located in the UK will pay prime dollar for it, and pay shipping.

Good luck with your decision, I know it's a tough one. I still remember the day I sold my 450R, and used that money to rock on my wife's finger...:ermm: Hindsight, it was all worth it but I still had a few toys in the garage.

I would love to have it and keep it together. Even take it to the track and smack down some 4 strokes. But I need to sell my LTR first ;)

Damn dude, part it out or watch someone else do it. You could probably get rid of most of the stuff on the forums. I've been thinking of getting rid of all my stuff too, you're not alone lol.

PM sent... heres a pic of the bike I would maybe be interested in doing a partial trade plus some cash. The quad definitely wouldnt be parted out... but maybe converted to a full laeger or lobo down the road lol
