yeah i dont think they are very popular, for the money/effort you can build a way faster naturally aspirated quad, just sent it to MXP, DASA, Sparks, baldwin, rage etc etc haha

not trying to discourage your project and you will achieve the "cool" :cool: factor no doubt

Thats sweet, i ordered my oil pump yesterday, im suppose to go on a trip over labor day then after that im gonna start the project, but idk if i can wait that long im getting to excited lol

Just out of curiosity, how big is the turbo your using?

If seen a few boosted quads over the years, not very many though.

Wouldn't running a single cylinder cause some pretty gnarly compressor surge at low rpm?

I tried to turbo my 400ex a while back, it worked but the turbo I used was to big.

I would get it to half way spool then it would go extremely rich and die because it didnt have enough exhaust flow. The turbo just needed more airflow to properly spool and the atv just didnt have the pressure it needed.

Just make sure you use a smaller turbo "really small", you dont have to tap your oil lines you can use a secondary oil system.

Youll also need a large assortment of jetts from small to large just incase you need to go extremely lean or extremely rich.

I have a thread on it in the 400ex section if you wanna check it out and learn from my mistakes....lol.

Yea i read your thread already lol, well my turbo is a mitstibishi tdo5, very small, my brother in laws in 2 sizes bigger i cant remember the size but he dont have any issues on his. Hes running 9 lbs of boost on his raptor and got it dynod last week and it put out 73hp. Im not planning on running alot of boost. I cant remember did you do a blow through set up on yours?

Raptor 700 I'm assuming? A turbo 660 is a waste of time. I'm just short of 70 HP with my N/A 660 at about $2500 worth of head work. the most a turbo 660 gets is about 60HP
