I went to a flat track race and thought it was absolutely awesome! Now I'm thinking i wanna do it. My quad is already set up for it, for the most part lol. My question is, what are good tires to run and where to find them. Thanks

Maxxis and Duro are both making tires for flat track racing. Check the suppliers you would normally use for tires and see if they can help you. I think I saw some listed on motosport.com also. All the manufacturers offer several different compounds of tire for flat track, the correct one would be determined by track conditions. Ask some of the other racers for their thoughts on which are best for the tracks you are racing. Good luck and if this is your first racing experience remember, you are racing for a plaque, not a million dollars

No i by no means plan to make any money. It basically something to do on Saturday nights. I guess the prize purse isnt even enough to pay for fuel for the night. Its something they just started and hoping it grows.

Awsomehonda got it right. Just go out and have fun, learn something every time you go to the track. Most other racers are willing to give advice if your willing to ask. Rath Racing is very good for sway bars and most anything else for flat track.
