hey guys i have a 96 chevy k1500 extcab short bed with a 4inch lift on 33s do u think i cn fit 35s on it

Most full size trucks with a 4" lift can fit 35s fairly easily. I usually always see people with a full size truck and a 4" lift with 35s on it. Do you have a pic of the truck with 33s on it? You could probably see if it could by the way it sits. Or just google "96 chevy k1500 with 35s" and see if anyone else has done it.

One of our trucks is identical to that its an ext. cab shortbed and is 1996, but with just a 3" body lift and were running a 315x75x16 which is pretty much equivalent to a 35x12.50 They will only drag on the mud flaps at full lock but with a little bit of a crank on the t-bars and an alignment it would be just fine. O btw we a running stock wheels.

Ive fit them also with a 3" bl and minor trimming. Only trimmed it for full stuff. But most 35" tires will sit at 34.5" and if you go BFG their tires always run small. The 35" km2 is the size of my old mickey thompson 33".
But just check the back space on your wheels from lock to lock and see if it will rub. If it does crank the torsion bars as mentioned. But unless your looking at a swamper or pit bull tire, They will be small enough to fit with 4" of lift with the truck sitting level.

i think my torsions need cranked anyway
but yea how much will the 35s throw my sensors off
the 33s are still dead on with the speed and all of that and i can even spin my 33s

The only things it will throw off are the speedo and odo. The stock size IIRC for a 96' was a 265-75-16 maybe a 245. But if its dead on now, You had the 265/32"" tires so maybe a total of 5mph.
You can adjust that with a superchips tuner or hypertech plus boost up fuel etc. You might see a fall im MPG if your gearing is not low enough or you buy a heavy 35" tire. But you have OBD II so you can adjust your sensors to fit the size or GPS it and go off the tach.

You buy the "superchip" hand held programmer and plug it into the OBD II port under the driver dash. With it you can read and clear DTC's, Tune you motor to 87,89,91+, Dial in your tire size, Change your shift points maybe more. They will run around $320-350 for the superchips one.

Your truck is the first year and might be like my jeep and are honestly only good to read and clear check lights. Mine goes off a gear in the Tcase, Make sure you dont dump money on nothing.

But it will give you an option screen for tire size. The way it goes by, 34.2, 34.6 etc and you go down the list etc. All there is to it really at least in the few i have done for friends.
But IMO make sure the last reson you buy it is for the "performance" part. The vortech 350 is tapped less an intake and exhaust. Thats the only way to keep your unless a new computer map or stand alone.

Found this one, Its the normal price of what they go for. Jet has been around for years and they list gear ratio and tire sizes. Not flashy like the others but its made to work and then some.
