clutch help

when letting out on the clutch it wants to grab real hard, clutch wont slip at all it just grabs and go. any ideas..

Time to replace your basket. More than likely its grooved. Pull the clutch cover and I bet thats what you'll find.

depending how bad the fingering is on the basket you might be able to smooth out the grooves and finish the season, and then do a winter rebuild

cleaning up a baskets rough spots is a well established way of getting the full life out of your basket, no loss of HP to the wheels or slipping issues associated with this procedure,

Ive done this a few times, with good results
