Are the magnetic oil drain plugs worth using, and if so do they make one for the oil tank also?I have a CFM oil tank ,so i dont have the screen mesh the oil goes through on the line.Ive only seen ones for the engine.

I have one for the crankcase on my 400. It collected quite a bit of metal on it after my rebuild but after that it didn't really catch much. But I guess it's catching something and that's what it's supposed to do. I haven't seen one for the tank.

I've always used one. Just some added insurance I guess. I've never found any large pieces. Just a very small amount of build up.
