Looks like these tubes were cut for some reason that are welded to the frame or used with a jig. Any one know? Think its a 97 frame

Post more pics of the frame. Any idea if it was something other than a 250R motor setup. Look like my 350x frame cutout.

i'm guessing it is a 350x frame. is the vin plate still attached (or do have it)? if you do you can always call up laegers and ask them??

here is my laeger 350x frame...you can see the part that is cut out of your frame (still attached on mine)

Laegre made 350x frames for MX? I had no idea. How much HP can you reliably get out of a 350x?

Ya I don't understand why that engine was used. I bought mine with a 85 250r motor in it. I don't use it for mx I race Harescrambles

The ATC350X engine was a popular hybrid option for the thumper guys back in the day. Probably a dependable old school engine. Not many realistic options other than that from the mid-80s to the mid-90s if you think about it. Cool frames, guys!

The 350RX conversion was popular in GNCC during the 90's. Not much to pick from back in those days. I remember Dave Hopper had one he raced the old four stroke mod class with. Not sure on hp numbers but he was well over 500cc.

I always wanted to ride a 350x in an R frame. I had a 350x trike, and a friend of mine built one with a 250x frame. Power was never a problem, but trying to handle it in a 250x frame was tough. I believe Poweroll still makes some good performance parts and the 250x/350x conversion parts.
