I got a banged up lt250 for parts and an almost brand new condition one that has the engine stripped, I'm wondering should I try and rebuild the engine that was in it or take the one for parts and re-do that engine with the parts from the stripped engine. The stripped moter is in a box in pices. The bottom end is still intact but the rest is pritty much a jigsaw puzzle!

If the bottom end is together there's pretty much nothing to the rest of it. Without seeing what you have, if I was going to rebuild one I'd rebuild the one that was on the like brand new quad, assuming they are both 87+ motors.

Locate a shop manual for it. You'll find them on eBay on the cheap. That's going to be the best route for showing how the tranny and crank go together. When putting the case halves together, use yamalube on the gasket.

We NEED PICS!!!!!! LOL
