different yfz a arms and frames

Im new to yamahas and was wondering what year a-arms will fit different year frames, like if i had a 2012 yfz450 could i swap the frame for a 2012 yfzr frame?
probably a dumb question but i dont know anything about them

Just components from the standard yfz back to 2003 will swap neighbor yfz450r and yfz450x are a different design

2004-2009 Carb'd bikes have the same frame and a-arms. Also includes the new 2013 Carb'd bikes.

2009- Current YFZ-R's have same frame and a-arms. The YFZ-X has the same FRAME as the R, but different (width) A-ARMS.
