Carb questions

Hey just curious if anybody knows what needle I should use in a stock 86' carb for an MX ported LRD cylinder that is just a little over stock? I want to try to get rid of the lag time before it will wind up and take off properly. I mainly ride on the dunes here in Oregon. Thanks!

I'll check my huge pile of stock carbs for you. My uncle ran stock carbs on his built motors & probably put in all kinds of needles in them. I'll check tomorrow

a DGH is a good all around needle.

but DGH is too fat for a small carb, try a CEJ for the smaller bore bikes under 350cc

50-52 pilot
170-175 main

1.75 turns out on the air mix screw
