:D Yes it is a head...but how do I find out what cylinder it is for? I obtained this head in a "grab bag" trade deal. I have an Apex 90, DRR 90 and DRR 70 and this head doesn't match any of these. Ok here is what I know (1) It is a two part head. (2) outside cover has FRC on it. (3) Internal piece will bolt up to Apex or DRR cylinder. (4) outside cover bolts don't even begin to bolt to anything. This head is most likely older technology and I can't find anything out about it.

Also I put a piston up to the inner head piece and a 100cc piston filled the dome area exactly.

Any info will be greatly appreciated! Here are some pics. Thank you!

It's not "old technology" It's just a stock Apex head. You have to have the corresponding FRC cylinder for the outer cover to bolt to. If your Apex 90 has the stock motor in it, it should look simillar. Our 2010 Apex 100 has the same style head.

Stock DRR 90 and 70 use different cylinders & one piece heads.

Thanks! I figure my Apex is stock, it doesn't have the FRC cylinder and I didn't find one with all the stuff I received. Did Apex make 2 varieties of stock cylinder/head combo's? This a "07 chasis, have no idea what year motor. Would the FRC cylinder and head combo be considered an upgrade to the steel cylinder and one piece head on the bike now? Thanks for the info.

I really don't know what Apex came with. I know the newer ones have the FRC setup, not sure what the older ones had.
I'm not sure I would call the FRC cylinder an upgrade. It's just a stock cast iron cylinder.
