450 hot start

i was wondering if you could tap the hot start hole that way you could put a threaded plug in it and not wonder when its going to start leaking has anyone tried anything like this

its already threaded. its just metric threads. take the carb to fastenal and match that baby up with a plug. thread tape it of course

if you take the hot start stuff out of the carb run a tap down the hole so its threaded and then you can thread a bolt or a a plug into the hole that way your not going to have to wonder if its sealed or when it will start leaking

I think it's m12 x 1.25 but dont hold me to it.I used the hot start plunger and spring then cut a bolt off and sealed that in there.
