I have an Eton 90 and I think I might have a little belt slip at take off. Any time it takes off it pulls hard from the start but at around 4 or 5 ft. it sounds like the engine revs up for a split second and and I see a puff of smoke then it sounds normal and starts to pull hard again. I cant tell if the smoke is coming from the cvt area or the exhaust. Anyone have an idea of whats going on or how to fix this.
Thanks,
Lonnie

sounds like your going from 1st gear to 3rd gear maybe try a heaver roller wght and clean your variator it my be sticking it should move freely in hand check your belt for oil from the tranny ,just do a overall inspection and clean the cvt , check the shoes in the bell and see if the bell is turning blue could be a little oil leake from tranny seal
