Pete (redred55) will be racing his Laeger 250R and I will be racing my Roll Design Lobo 250R at the Red Bud national this weekend. Just wanted to let everyone know! :D

My woman and I will be there sporting here freshly finished hot pink LSR build that she got to ride last night. Be over at redder55's are and talking with sfracing about my other shocks for the Walsh getting them redone for me. If you see the pink LSR stop us and say hi.

It was cool to meet month and 8686, great guys and nice to talk to. Hung out with my old racing buddies and parties with Heather rose burst and John Natalie and his wife tonight. John was my beer pong partner, we lost only by a cup. And Heather was handing out hello shots, it was awesome and fun, my woman was tired and ready to go home. And I forgot about my buddy Seth fliggy at sf racing and Pete (redress55) hung out with them also. Se you guys next year.

So how did you guys finish overall.

I did not qualify for the 20 rider main in the 450B class. I think there was 27 guys signed up for the class. Had 13 or so guys in my qualifier. Had a bad holeshot in my qualifier and got tangled with another rider in the first couple turns which put me at the back of the pack. Passed my way to 9th place. The top 8 went to the main. Track was rough. It's hard to run a national track once a year and be prepared for it. Red Bud is big. Lol. So that finish put me in the 2 lap LCQ. Top 4 went to the main. Came out of the holeshot in 5th. On the first lap I was making the turn right before Larocco's Leap and got a pretty big rock wedged between my rotor and wheel on the left front. Stopped me in my tracks. Oh well, that's racing!

Missed the transfer spot by 1 in my 30+A qualifier. Ended up winning my LCQ. Terrible start in the main with 18th gate pic with a direct line into a big mud hole in the start straight. Needless to say I got my ***** handed to me. All rider error. The Laeger/Puma worked flawlessly! Had a blast though!!

Really felt my age this weekend but had a great time. Hanging out and talking quads is the best part! I'd say I'd have a better chance in the 40+ class but those boys are just as serious as the 30+!!
Maybe less beer and more dedication?

I had a rough weekend I chose to run open c since I didn't qualify for open b 2 years ago when I raced. Started off alright quad was running good got a great start in my heat needed 8th to transfer. I think i was 3rd through the 2nd turn. I got passed by a couple 450s at the bottom of the track by the time I made the first lap I had lost track of my positioning so I just put the hammer down tryIng to pass everyone I could. Little did I know I was running 8th with a big gap behind me. I had two guys ahead of me and I was gaining on them so that was all that was on my mind. I railed the corner before the Monza wall hoping to slingshot passed them on the wall. Unfortunately there was about a 3 foot deep hole right in my right front wheel track. I ended up cartwheeling across the track by the time I got my wits and got going again I was way back in 11th. Continued pushing it but was only able to get back to 10th before the finish. So off to the LCQ we tweaked with my stabalizer and shocks between Motos and I was confident the quad was really going to feel good out there. Boy was I right probably the best the lobo has ever felt and that is saying a lot as this was by far the most brutal track I have ever ridden. There were breaking bumps and whoops around virtually the entire track. I was confident I was going to have a good race in the lcq but it was just not my day. The gates dropped and I didn't get the start I wanted I was back in 6th or 7th but thought I could get up to 4th where I needed to to transfer. This race is a 2 lap sprint and about half way through the first lap a kid on a ktm who I was pushing panicked or something and I rear ended him and managed to tangle us up. It took me well into the second lap to finally get passed him which was to late as that pass was for fifth I believe one spot out of the transfer. It was another good learning experience and I have vowed to come back next year in better shape and faster. If I can figure out how to post pics I will post up a couple
