+2stem clearance issues

I have a+ 2 stem that I just bought and a Clarke 4 gallon tank, the bars and the clamp hit the tank when I turn to full lock. Anyway to fix this?

Try moving the fuel tank as far back as possible. If not, you'll have to go w a +1 forward stem.

I had a stock stem with plus 2 plus 1 Rox Risers, cleared fine.

move the tank as far back as possible might have to slot or make new tank mounts, space the steering stem slightly forward put washers behind steering stem clamp to frame.

i had a clark 4 gallon and a lonestar+2 stem and i had the same problem my solution was to take the tank off and drill 2 new holes in the gold tank mounts that hold the tank to the frame. just make new holes slightly to the left of the stock holes and u will b fine.
