I have a questions about an air cooled 50. (kasea). I hear u guys talking about trying to maintain Roma n the peak power that the bike makes. I understand y. What I don't understand is. Are u guys making these bikes rev out at that peak power rpm? What am I not picking up on??? Thanks guys.

Ideally you want it to be in the peck power at all time.

Thanks for responding. I'm very new to the cvt. trying to figure it out. How do I keep the rpms down in the top end?? I have a trail tech tach on it. It reads that's revving to 19k. Not sure how accurate that is. But I have read that I should be trying to keep it around 11.5k rpm. I've yet to get full travel out the belt on the front pulley. Waiting on more rollers to get here now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Be careful trusting the tiny tach's they can give double readings, which sounds like what may be happening with yours........

intead of guessing on the roller weights
we 5 minute epoxy BBs into the centers and bring the weight up
the weights will vary
weigh all 6 and figure the average weight
Are you sure you have the right length belt>?
