clutch plates?

i just got new c12 gas and reinstalled the gas tank after cleaning the lines. I took it out for a spin and in gear it won't open up, seems to stick at a lower rpm range, kind of like a rev limiter on a 4 stroke. I am going to change the clutch plates since they need it, but would that be the problem? Any info will be appreciated.

no. did you rejet for the race gas?

could be a host of issues, common is fingering on the clutch basket

which dont allow the plates to slide freely

the quad ran fine when the original owner put his gas in, i just replaced the clutch and have yet to start it up and see if anything has changed, the clutch basket seemed to be fine
