Hey guys I am working on a 400EX with an older aftermarket bearing carrier in it. Its the doublewide bearings. I remember reading that there was a common bearing that these cross referenced over to. I think someone said it was a bearing for an air conditioner compressor on a chevrolet motor. I was wondering if anyone had that number for the bearing i need. I am not able to get a number off of the bearings i have to cross over. Thanks

But if you go to www.bossbearing.com they have the entire kit with 2 bearings and seals cheaper.

boss bearings are a quality product for the price. I've used them on my 400 and my 450 axle bearings with no issues. the key is to make sure you get your seals in proper. The dual row bearings make it a little harder to remove the bearings from the carrier, but once you get them out they go in pretty easy. just make sure to freeze your bearings before installing, that way they shrink down a bit and go in easier.
