Starter button only works when I take chaneloks and squeeze the life outta it lol. What' do I need to do?

Prolly dirt or something jammed up inside the switch. You can take the back off of the switch then there is a small phillips screw you have to remove then you can pull a metal plate out that holds the guts of the switch in. Just blast all of that off with a good electronic contact cleaner and then hit it with some air. Make sure there isn't any big pieces of mud or something in it.

Is there any way to take the starter button farther apart than just taking it outta the cluster?

Well if you did what I said then you can see the actual button. I don't think you could take it apart without damaging it and not being able to put it back together. If you are still having the problem more than likley the button is worn out and you will have to replace the whole cluster. I've had friends that had the same problem and I tried to fix it but culdn't. Had to buy a new cluster.

Yeah the button is ridiculously hard to press. It's probably time for a new cluster.
