little motor oil in airbox

My buddy was checking his filter today and noticed oil in airbox said its not filter oil. He says it runs fine what might cause this?

over filling it could, constant wheelies those are the simple reasons.

expensive reasons is plain and simple time for a topend rebuild.

Possibly a blown crank seal transferring tranny oil to motor side and overfilling engine side. Drain both sides, refil with correct amount then check at next change how much comes out of each side. If roughly the same amount comes out that went in both sides seals are probably ok ... As above said then... Top end.
