Operating Temp on 50cc Malossi MHR

I just built our national motor for my son and it seems to be running hot compared to our other local series engine. Does anyone else have a temp gauge on their quad and if so can you tell me what temps you are running? Our cast iron local engine is running about 138 degrees, but the aluminum Malossi Replica cylinder in the national motor is 170 degrees and smells hot when it's running.

I talked to my buddy and he told me to burp the system and that took care of it. Down to 154 degrees now. Thanks

Burp??? What do you meen buy that. My boys built 90 runs hot and starts to stall during motos.? Thanks

Crack the bleeder on top of the head and let the air out of the system.
