can you run a tether and dirtbike style kill switch

i have an 86 trx250r and i have a tether but no kill switch or button, if its possible, which wires would i splice and connect? thanks for any info

Yes you can. both the kill switch and the teather need to have 1 ground each. the other wire you will connect to the orginal kill switch wire.
